Central Baltic INTERREG IV A Programme 2007-2013 Showcase Conference in Riga, Latvia
On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, the Central Baltic INTERREG IV A Programme 2007-2013 will arrange its second annual Showcase Conference in Riga, Latvia. The conference is a platform to show the achievements of the programme so far, see how the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region is developing and to discuss what may come after the year 2013.
Participants will be invited to discuss if and how the Programme is reaching its visions through the financed projects. The conference will also start the discussions about life after the present programme period 2007-2013. The conference will reflect on projects’ impacts on the fulfilment of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region as well as on its impact on a local and regional level. A toolbox on project implementation will be provided for the running projects by enabling them to discuss and exchange experiences among themselves and the Joint Technical Secretariat.
A project fair will be organised to bring forward our running projects and their achievements. For the first time, the Bouncing Float Award will be handed over at the Showcase Conference 2010 to a project for an innovative green project implementation practice.
