«Grandmother’s Garden, Changing in Time» was announced the Deed of the Year 2010.
Karin Kapp, Helen Hendrikson and Reelika Rätsep, Master students of horticulture, and Anu Kägu, student of landscape architecture, participated in the Tallinn Flower Festival 2010 under the supervision of Ele Vool, lecturer of horticulture. The aim of the exhibition «Grandmother’s Garden, Changing in Time» was to show how plants and gardens have changed over a period of time. We taken from the country garden of our grannies’ to the gardens of contemporary chic and hurrying grandmothers’.
At the closing of the Flower Festival the jury announced the three best gardens of the festival. The garden designed by our students was awarded the first prize.
