Conference «20 years of research evaluation in Estonia» will be held at the Dorpat Convention Centre in Tartu on January 27 2011.
The conference will give a short survey of the four evaluations of the research and development activities in Estonia. In addition the experience of other countries will be outlined, the methodological and conceptual questions of evaluation discussed and the future perspectives of research evaluation further considered.
Speakers include Professor Peeter Saari (Estonian Academy of Sciences); Professor Roland Axtmann (Swansea University, UK); Paul Hubbard (HEFCE, UK); Professor Wolfgang Glänzel (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium); Paavo Löppönen (the Academy of Finland), etc
