The new Advisory Board assigned

The Board of the Estonian University of Life Sciences assigned a new Advisory Board for the university on December 29. The last Advisory Board’s delegated authority lasted until April 24. The members of the new board are Ülari Alamets, Krista Aru, Aigar Kallas, Kalev Kreegipuu, Urmas Kruuse, Tanel Linnus, Jaanus Marrandi, Toomas Noorem, Ants Noot, Ago Pärtel, Raul Rosenberg, Roomet Sõrmus and Aivar Õun.

The Advisory Board is a unit connecting the university and the society. The authority is delegated and its members are assigned by the Board of the EMÜ, which also considers the opinion of the university. The Advisory Board has 11-15 members and it’s autority expires in three years. The Advisory Board makes suggestions regarding the development of the university to the Minister of Education and Research and the Council of the EMÜ, also presenting their evaluations of university to the public.
