Estonian University of Life Sciences is the first university in Estonia to pass institutional accreditation

Estonian University of Life Sciences is the first university to pass institutional accreditation – new type of assessment valid for seven years. The decision to accredit the university was made by Estonian Higher Education Quality Agency on August the 28th, based on the evaluation conducted by international experts.

The experts highlighted the role of the university in developing rural life in Estonia, as well as open management and student-friendly, caring and cozy environment. Good mention was received also for good connections with stakeholders such as employers, alumni and professional associations.

All Estonian universities must pass evaluation by 2016.
