Mait Klaassen has been re-elected as EMÜ rector

Mait Klaassen, the current rector of Estonian University of Life Sciences has been re-elected for another term. Out of 181 ballots, 156 showed support to Mait Klaassen. Mait Klaassen graduated from the former Estonian Academy of Agriculture as a doctor of veterinary medicine, and in 1991-1993 he was professor and head of Internal Diseases Department of Veterinary Institute. He has been rector of Estonian University of Life Sciences in 2008-2012 and 1993-1997 (formerly Estonian University of Agriculture).

The new term will begin on January the 1st, 2013, and will last five years. The inauguration ceremony will take place on January the 24th, 2013.
