The most influential researcher in Estonia is Ülo Niinemets
Research.com ranked the most influential and prominent researchers in this year. Ülo Niinemets, Professor of the Chair of Plant Breeding and Plant Biology at the Estonian University of Life Sciences, was chosen to rank high 12th among the world's 1000 strongest scientists in the field of plant science and agronomy.
The ranking is compiled by Research.com once a year in a total of 21 different research areas. Eight more scientists from Estonia reached the top 1,000 in the world in their field.
According to the same portal, the Estonian University of Life Sciences is on the 117th place in the world in the field of plant science and agronomy. The Estonian University of Life Sciences is ranked 447th in ecology and evolutionary sciences, and 336th in the field of animal sciences and veterinary medicine.
